Bangladesh's ICT sector has become a critical driver of economic transformation - contributing to GDP, employment, and efficiency across manufacturing, finance, agriculture and services. But growth has outpaced policy, infrastructure readiness, and systemic integration.
Artificial Intelligence holds transformative potential for productivity and competitiveness - while introducing real challenges: job displacement, algorithmic bias, deepfakes, and digital sovereignty concerns tied to foreign cloud ecosystems.
The summit is a strategic platform to address both the opportunity and the risk of early-stage AI adoption - especially for SMEs - and to move from policy dialogue to practical, on-the-floor application.

Industry & Academia Linkage: AI-fication towards Business Innovation
The objective of this session is to identify practical approaches to strengthening industry-academia collaboration for AI-driven business innovation, research commercialization, technology transfer, and the development of industry-relevant skills in Bangladesh.
AI for Everyone: Solving Real Problems with Local Intelligence
The session will examine the emerging role of AI agents as digital colleagues capable of performing business tasks beyond conventional chatbots, including processing orders, coordinating transactions, and providing customer support, with appropriate human oversight. Key priorities for this session will include identifying industry-specific use cases, strengthening Bangla-language datasets, fostering collaboration among businesses and technology developers, and establishing mechanisms to scale successful applications.
